About Me
Hello, visitor! My name is Evelin Gonzalez, and this is my blog that documents my travels to Fez, Morocco. I thought of the name while listening to a Moroccan song and realizing it sounded a lot like Spanish. It translates to "Hello World." While I explore other cultures, languages, and customs, I hope to become globalized, and be able to appreciate all cultures as well as my own gifts from life.
In Morocco, I learned and progressed into a higher level of Modern Standard Arabic (MSA). But more importantly, I experienced a different way of life and learned to embrace another culture, much in the same way Morocco embraced me. I learned about what brought our cultures together, but also learned a lot about myself and what makes me stand out against the rest. There were ups and downs of my month-long stay in Fez, but ultimately, the fruit of success and worldliness is yet to be felt in the future.
